Primare I35 Modular Integrated Amplifier Primare I35 is a full-size modular integrated amplifier designed for serious two-channel hi-fi systems. It combines high output power, balanced analogue connectivity and Primare’s clean Scandinavian design in a flexible platform that can be configured as a pure analogue amplifier, an amplifier with DAC, or a complete streaming integrated amplifier. At the heart of the I35 is Primare’s UFPD 2 amplification technology, delivering 150 W per channel into 8 ohms and 300 W per channel into 4 ohms. This gives the amplifier enough power and control for a wide range of bookshelf and floorstanding loudspeakers, while keeping the presentation fast, clean and dynamically open. The standard I35 is a high-quality analogue integrated amplifier with both balanced XLR and RCA analogue inputs. This version is ideal for systems already using an external DAC, streamer, CD player, phono stage or other dedicated source components. For digital systems, the I35 can be fitted with the DM36 digital-to-analogue converter module. This adds high-resolution digital inputs and turns the amplifier into a more complete system hub for digital sources such as CD transports, streamers, TVs or computers. The most complete version is I35 Prisma DM36, which combines the DM36 DAC module with Primare’s SM35 Prisma network player module. This adds network streaming, app control and modern music services, turning the I35 into a powerful streaming integrated amplifier. This modular architecture is the main strength of the I35. It allows the system to start as a pure integrated amplifier and later be expanded with DAC and streaming functionality, or to be ordered immediately as a fully equipped Prisma version. The I35 is available in Black and Titanium finishes, making it easy to match with other Primare 35 series components such as the DD35 CD Transport, CD35 CD Player or PRE35 preamplifier.
